WHY I CHOSE MY NAME

My name is Lara but friends and family refer to me as Suzy Homemaker, Queen DIY, Miss Crafty, and Plate Lady; however, it wasn't until recently when Randy one of my special needs individuals referred to me as LaraCraftyMurphy that I even gave a name to myself.

WHY I CHOSE THE NAME:

One of my passions is working with people with various disabilities and one of the individuals gave me this name last Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 and it just stuck with me cause it totally describes me. At my work I am known for my crafts. I am asked to make various crafts for my co-workers and my individuals as well as their family. Every year I spend my time making corsages and boutonnieres for their home coming/prom dance. This event is a HUGE deal and they get all glitz and glamoured up. My corsages and boutonnieres are just a small part that goes into carrying out this night full of memories and I am delighted to be a part of it! I also have been asked to make diaper cakes and other keepsakes for co-workers who are expecting that little bundle of joy, getting married, or going through a tough time in life.
